Acoustic Guitars: Mid-’90s Martin 000-28, 1976 Martin D-76 (Bicentennial model once owned by John Fahey), 1957 Martin 00-18, early ’50s National student model with ¾-size neck; mid-1920s Weissenborn Hawaiian guitar.
Strings: Ernie Ball nickel-wound lights.
Electric Guitars: 1954 and 1960 Fender Stratocasters.
Amplification: EMG ACS soundhole pickup in the Martin 000-28; Seymour Duncan pickups in the National; Fishman Pro-EQ Platinum preamp/DI; Roland AC-60 Acoustic Chorus amplifier.
Picks: When Robb wants extra volume, he puts on a clear plastic Dobro thumbpick and metal fingerpicks on his first two fingers.
