Third Man Records' first Blue Series 7" of the year will feature American Primitive musician Frank Fairfield. Due to release on January 21, this vinyl will feature Fairfield's unique acoustic take on the traditional murder ballad "Duncan and Brady" (with teaser available here) on acoustic guitar and a performance of "Devil's Dream Medley" on fiddle with Zac Sokolow.

The vinyl is available for pre-order through the Third Man Records online store.

The Blue Series is a collection of 7" vinyl produced by Jack White and released on his Third Man Records label. Artists and bands traveling through Nashville, TN, are invited to record with White, and the songs are then released shortly thereafter both digitally and on vinyl. Previous Blue Series artists include Shovels and Rope, Laura Marling, John C. Reilly and Tom Brousseau, Pokey LaFarge, Chris Thile & Michael Davies, and many others.
