Steve Earle

Steve Earle will be putting on his teaching hat this summer for Camp Copperhead, his new four-day songwriting camp in Big Indian, NY.

Earle's 2014 workshop will take place at Full Moon Resort in in the Catskill Forest Preserve. He will be the sole instructor, teaching full-day workshops to about 100 students. The workshop is open to people of all skill levels.

“I can’t teach anyone to be a songwriter,” he says. “But I can teach the things that I’ve learned—from doing it—that make you a better songwriter if you already are one. Even if you weren’t put on the planet to be a songwriter, I think you’ll appreciate and understand songwriting better through taking this course.”

Details on pricing and forthcoming news on workshop schedules are available at camp-copperhead.com.
