Remembering Duane Allman on His 67th Birthday

Posted on November 20, 2013 | by Amber von Nagel

Today we celebrate Duane Allman's birthday. Had the legendary guitarist not died in a motorcycle accident at the age of 24, he would have been 67 today.

Best known for his electric guitar work in the Allman Brothers Band, he was also an accomplished acoustic guitarist. In the video above, Allman tears it up on acoustic slide guitar with Delaney and Bonnie on the Robert Johnson classic "Come on in My Kitchen."
