In Kansas City, Missouri, this week, musicians from around the world have gathered for the annual Folk Alliance International conference. On Friday, February 21, and Saturday, February 22, music fans anywhere can get a sampling of the performers via special online concerts hosted by singer-songwriter Christine Lavin.

Lavin has invited an array of performers—veterans as well as emerging artists—to stop by and play a song or two in shows streamed live by Concert Window. The Web startup is run by musicians; CEO Dan Gurney, for instance, is a Celtic accordion player.

The concert on Friday, February 21, runs about 1:30 to 5 pm EST. Watch live here.

The concert on Saturday, February 22, runs 12:30 to 5 pm EST. (Toward the end Acoustic Guitar's editor-at-large Jeffrey Pepper Rodgers will be performing.) Watch live here.

During Concert Window shows, audience members can make comments in real time as well as leave tips. All proceeds from Lavin’s Folk Alliance concerts go to the Folk Alliance scholarship fund.
