John Butler Trio Announces Initial Summer Tour Dates

Posted on February 5, 2014 | by Amber von Nagel

The John Butler Trio has announced the first three dates for their summer tour. More dates are to be announced soon, but it looks like Colorado, Missouri, and New York can expect the band to stop in each of those states in June. The dates so far are as follows:

June 6: Morrison, CO – Red Rocks Amphitheater (with Frank Turner)
June 7: Kansas City, MO – Crossroads (with Frank Turner)
June 17: New York, NY – Central Park Summerstage

The band also released an album this week: Flesh and Blood, the much-anticipated follow-up to 2010's April Uprising. You can see the music video for the album's first single, "Only One," above. The video gives the whole "zombie apocalypse" concept a little bit of a lighthearted twist.

You can find out more about the new album and get updates on the band's tour at their website here.
