Gibson J-15

Gibson Guitar this week introduced the J-15, an affordable dreadnought constructed of North American tonewoods and incorporating construction practices usually found in pricier models.

The J-15 sports a J-45 body shape, an X-braced Sitka spruce top and American Walnut back and sides, scalloped spruce bracing, a hand-sprayed nitro-cellulose finish, and L.R. Baggs Element pickup and preamp system.

The guitar is listed at $1,499 MSRP.
