Bonnaroo Kicks Out the Jams
The Avett Brothers will be playing it to the Bonn this weekend—and by that we mean the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, the annual four-day genre-come-all jam session at Great Stage Park in Manchester, Tennessee.
The festival is celebrating its 13th year with some of the biggest names in music—and attendance is expected to exceed last year’s 90,000 “partygoers.” While Bonnaroo has grown a bit since its more folky origins in the early 2000’s, acoustic guitars will still get more than their fair share of licks in. If you happen to find yourself on the 700 acres of the GSP from now through Sunday, you may want to check out:
Greensky Bluegrass (Friday at noon on the What Stage; 3pm on the Sonic Stage)
