Bob Dylan's 'Like a Rolling Stone' to Get New Music Video
Nearly 50 years after its release, Bob Dylan’s “Like a Rolling Stone” is finally getting an official music video. The better-late-than-never clip will be released on Tuesday, November 19 on Dylan's website.
An interactive experience, this video will show 16 different storylines that viewers can switch between like television channels. The actors on each channel lip-sync the lyrics to the song, allowing viewers to seamlessly jump from one channel to the next. One channel will show vintage Dylan footage.
The video's premiere also marks the release of his new 47-disc box set, The Complete Album Collection Volume 1.
"Like a Rolling Stone" first came out in 1965 and has been hailed as one of Dylan's most influential songs.
To get ready for the new music video, we thought we'd share one of Dylan's performances of the legendary song in the video above. This performance ran on MTV in 1995.
