Neil Young to celebrate Record Store Day with vinyl, T-shirts ...
Neil Young … fashion icon? That’s right! The folk-rock guitar legend wants fans to do more than simply listen to his classic albums—he wants them to wear them.
So for international Record Store Day this Saturday, Young is accompanying the limited vinyl release of four of his 1970s albums with a special run of T-shirts emblazoned with those albums’ cover art. Vinyl versions of Time Fades Away, Tonight’s the Night, On the Beach and Zuma were recently remastered from the original analog recordings and have never sounded so crisp—or looked so good draped across your upper torso.
The LPs come as a box set; only 3,500 units are being released. Purchase them, listen to them, and wear them on April 19 at participating indie record stores.
