Web and Digital Publishing Manager Wanted
String Letter Publishing, in its 21st year of publishing music magazines, books, and digital media, seeks a Digital Publishing Manager to oversee, manage, and develop our websites, including this one, as well as e-newsletters and other digital products that serve guitarists and string players. The Digital Publishing Manager works with a team of staff members and ex-house service providers, managing digitally-based revenue streams, including advertising, sponsorship, subscription, licensing, and affiliate programs; guiding the development and deployment of digital content; and managing digital delivery and marketing systems.

The ideal candidate juggles multiple tasks with ease; thrives in a creative environment; has a strong ethic of service; demonstrates the capacity to initiate new services and see them through both readiness and refinement; and has a strong knowledge of content-based web publishing, particularly for vertical niche audiences, as well as solid experience (at least 3 to 5 years) in business development and/or editorial management.

String Letter Publishing, with a current staff of 35 and offices in San Rafael, California, offers a collaborative, professional, but casual atmosphere; competitive compensation, benefits, and profit sharing. To apply for this position, please submit a letter of application and resume to David A. Lusterman, Publisher, 255 West End Avenue, San Rafael, CA 94901.
