Marketing Services Associate
Stringletter, publishers of the Acoustic Guitar and Strings media brands on a variety of both print and digital platforms, seeks a talented and energetic sales and marketing professional to join our Marketing Services and Advertising team.
Your job is to provide sales representation and support within a geographic territory to companies, organizations, and individuals who market products and services to the audiences served by our media brands. Combining deep, current knowledge of our print and digital offerings with an understanding of today’s music products marketplace, you’ll develop, present, and close on integrated media sales packages customized for each client and prospect, meeting and exceeding quarterly and annual territory revenue goals. You also write and oversee the execution of Marketing Services promotional materials for both brands, and organize trade show attendance for the company.
You’ll join a team of talented marketers, designers, and editors with a passion for music and publishing. You report to the Marketing Services Director for Stringletter, which has been serving enthusiast and professional musicians and music educators since 1986.
You’ll need one-on-one selling skills, excellent organization skills, and strong oral and written communication skills. Experience in publishing, advertising (print and/or digital), or marketing is preferred, and hands-on knowledge of music and musical instruments is helpful.
Stringletter offers competitive benefits and compensation, and opportunities for advancement in a casual but highly professional work environment. To apply, please submit a well-written cover letter and resume to Dan Gabel, Group Publisher and Editorial Director, Stringletter Publishing, dan@stringletter.com, or PO Box 767, San Anselmo, CA 94979.
