Glen Wright

I am a retired postal worker and have been playing acoustic guitar since I was 18yrs.
Used to play around lots of pubs and clubs during the folk boom in the UK in the late 60's and 70's .
First attracted to acoustic guitar when I heard the first album by Bob Dylan in Liverpool when I was about 16 yrs ( hitched hiked there to see the Beatles Cavern )
Main first influences with Finger style blues Big Bill Broonzy , Mississippi John Hurt, Blind Willie McTell and Blind Boy Fuller and the revivalists Dave Van Ronk and Stefan Grossman
in the UK mesmerised by inspirational early innovators like Wizz Jones , Davy Graham , John Renbourn and Bert Jansch.
Hope to start gigging again on open mike nights early next year when I get practice perfect
I have 4 videos uploaded onto You Tube , which can be accessed via 'glen wright acoustic blues'
