Dale Poune has been a musician and songwriter his whole life ,one of the lucky ones. Dale plays guitar, dobro, mandolin, bass and Sings. He has performed with Jon Washinington's Fortunes (You've got your troubles, Here comes that rainy day feeling again), Buddy Miles, The Coasters, and The Drifters.
He is currently working with Independent country artist Lacy J Dalton (16th Ave, Black Coffee). When not working with Lacy still tours with Jon Washington's Fortunes . When not the road you can catch him in local Reno clubs playing with bands or doing a single.
Dale's first solo album was titled "Loose Ends" and he has just released a second CD titled "Guitar Pizza on the Pepo records label. "Guitar Pizza" is a collection of instrumental guitar work including a couple of originals.
Four of the Comstock Cowboy albums feature guitar, bass and vocal work by Dale, "Gather round Cowboys", "Break it to the Cowboy" a gospel album titled"I was never Alone" featuring duets with David John(Cowboys lead singer) and Lacy J Dalton and The just released "Songslinger".
Dale played acoustic guitar on Lacy J Dalton's latest release "This Close". Recorded the Dobro and Guitar parts on Lacy's New single "Next to Me" on Song Dog records.
