Parlor Guiatr

Parlor Guiatr

I'm in the market for a parlor guitar in the less than $500 price range and looking for recommendations. I've only been playing for about a year and can't justify spending more at this time.

Christopher,

I am very happy with the quality and sound of my Alvarez AP-70. They can be found for about $370. Slotted headstock, scale just over 24 inches. It has been reviewed here on the Acoustic Guitar Magazine site. Mine came with a pickguard which I removed.

Recording King has some nice ones in your price range; Elderly seems to keep a good stock on hand - check out their website...
